Joy To The World

 
 
This tut was written for those with a basic knowledge of psp.
I am using the awesome artwork of  Barbara Jensen.
You need a license to use this art work. Please do not use without a license.

Supplies Needed
I used PSPX...but any of them should work.
 
Scrap Lovely Christmas by Designs by LK HERE

 Font of Choice, I used Alex Brush

Drop Shadow usually V2 H2 50 black
 *Remember to add your drop shadow as you go along*

Open a new image 800 x 800 or one you prefer.

Paste paper 3, apply your mask 109 first, delete and merge group. Paste the same paper again and apply mask 8, delete and merge group.

Paste frame 5 on the mask layer, duplicate, mirror, duplicate, flip, duplicate, mirror, line up and erase all the purple bows until you have one big frame.
Once you have all erased, close off your mask layers and merge the frames together. Or you could take your free hand tool, draw around where the bow is, delete, duplicate the frame, flip, duplicate, mirror and line them up that way.
Always more than one way to do things, this is just the way I did it, so do what works best for you. :)
Click inside with your magic wand, expand by 5, paste paper 9, invert, delete, select none.

Paste frame 5 on top of these, free rotate to the right at 20 degrees and move over to the right some.

Resize the sign and tube to 95%, paste the sign on the left side, paste your tube on the right and mirror.

Resize the clouds to 90%, paste at the bottom on your tube layer, duplicate, merge down, duplicate again and move over to the left on the sign layer, duplicate again and move below the sign, duplicate one more time and move up a bit to help cover some of the bow on the frame, erase some of the snow on the sign.

Resize flowers 2 to 60%, place on the left just above the sign layer, duplicate, resize to 90%, move over to the right a bit more, duplicate again, move over below the tube layer on the right, erase the part behind the fuzzy part of the hat.

Resize the berries to 85%, paste on the left just above the frame layer, duplicate the berries, mirror, move below the frame layer and down some.

Resize the cat to 50%, place by the sign.
Resize the mistletoe to 65%, place on top of the sign.
Resize the ornaments to 50%, place them where you like.
Paste the opaque circles below the tube layer on the sign more.
Resize flower 3 to 35%, place below the ornament layers on the left, duplicate, move over to the right more.

Resize a snowflake to 25%, duplicate a couple of times and place on the bottom.

Add any other elements you would like, make it your own.

Crop your tag to be sure no stray shadows are on the edges of your tag.
Once happy with it all, close off any backgrounds, merge visible.
Resize first, then add your copyrights and name.

Candy Cane Elf

Xero-Soft Vignette, Clarity
 
Font of Choice, I used Close to You

Drop Shadow usually V2 H2 50 black
 *Remember to add your drop shadow as you go along*

Open a new image 800 x 800 or one you prefer.

Resize paper 1 to 130%, apply your mask, delete and merge group.

Paste frame 6, click inside with your magic wand expand by 10, paste paper of choice, I used #6, invert, delete, move below the frame, paste your close up, delete, select none.  Duplicate the close up, go to Adjust, Blur, Gaussian blur with the number on 5, change the blend mode to screen, merge down.
Apply the Xero filter-Soft Vignette with these settings
Elliptical, Foreground color
Square dots
2, 1, 1, 255
Then apply the Xero filter-Clarity and do not change any of the numbers.

Paste flower 1, apply Mura Meisters Copies-Encircle with the first number on 14,
move to just above the mask layer, resize larger to 108%, sharpen once.

Duplicate the green frame 6 larger to 127 and move above the flower layer you just made.
Paste branch 1, apply Mura Meisters again, changing the first number to 16, placing on top of the green frame layer you just enlarged, sharpen once.

Resize branch 2 to 95%, paste, apply Mura Meister Copies again, changing the first number to 12, sharpen once.

Resize flower 3 to 95%, place on the bottom right, duplicate, mirror, sharpen both once.

Resize your tube to 90%, mirror, place on the left side of the frame.

Resize the Christmas memories book to 65%, free rotate to the right at 20 degrees, move below the flower layer.

Paste berries 1 below the book layer on the right, duplicate, mirror, adjust.
Paste branch 4 under the berries layer, duplicate a couple of times, mirror and adjust to your liking.

Resize baubles 1 and 2 to 50%, place below the flower layers, duplicate a couple of times or so and move them where you like.

Resize candy cane 1 to 50%, free rotate to the right at 20 degrees, paste below the flower layers also, duplicate, mirror and adjust to the center.
Duplicate the left one and move over by your tube, so you can see some of it, duplicate, mirror and adjust by the book.
Resize lollipop 3 to 50%, free rotate to the right at 20 degrees also, place by the candy cane, erase any of the stick showing below, duplicate, mirror, again erasing any of the stick you do not want showing.

Paste Scatters 1 on the top frame layer, erasing parts out of the center of the frame that you don't want.
Resize the elf to 60%, place on the right side on the top layer.

Add any other elements you would like, make it your own.

Crop your tag to be sure no stray shadows are on the edges of your tag.
Once happy with it all, close off any backgrounds, merge visible.
Resize first, then add your copyrights and name.

Winter Funtime


This tut was written for those with a basic knowledge of psp.

Font of Choice, I used Christmas Snow

Drop Shadow usually V2 H2 50 black
 *Remember to add your drop shadow as you go along*

Open a new image 800 x 800 or one you prefer.
Paste paper 10, apply your mask, delete and merge group.

Resize element 34 to 65%, paste and move to the top more, duplicate, move down and to the left, duplicate again, mirror, merge these two together and move the first frame on top, erase the inside bars of the frames, merge down.

Click inside with your magic wand, expand by 5, paste paper 2, invert, delete, then paste your close up tube in the top center frame, delete, select none, moving both below the frames.
Change the blend mode to Luminance (L), erase the part of the tube in the lower frames.

Resize your full tube to 65%, place on the left above the frame layer.

Paste element 41 on the right side  more.

Paste element 51 and move to the bottom, duplicate, flip, move back down, erasing the straight line showing.

Paste element 31 on the left below your tube layer, duplicate, move over to the right and down to just above the paper layer in the frame.

Paste element 40 above the mask layer, free rotate to the left at 90 degrees, move to the right, duplicate, mirror.

Back on top layer, resize element 55 to 55%, mirror and place on the snow where you like.
Resize element 20 to 55%, place below the snowman on the right.
Resize element 42 to 50%, place by the tube on the left.

Resize element 50 to 50%, place on the right below the snow layer, free rotate to the right at 10 degrees, sharpen once.

Resize element 49 to 55%, mirror, place at the top of the frame.

Resize element 10 to 40%, free rotate to the left at 57%, place on the house, duplicate, mirror, free rotate to the right at 10%, adjust on the other side.
Resize element 11 to 40%, place on the house above the lights.

Add any other elements you would like, make it your own.

Crop your tag to be sure no stray shadows are on the edges of your tag.
Once happy with it all, close off any backgrounds, merge visible.
Resize first, then add your copyrights and name.

If you want to Animate, keep the white background and copy merged to animation shop, come back and click on each light with your magic wand and the window also if you like, or you can take your free hand tool and draw around each one, which ever you prefer, then go to Adjust, Brightness and Contrast with these numbers,
both numbers on 10,  select none, copy merged to animation shop, paste after current frame.
Go back to psp undo select none and undo the brightness and contrast, apply this again but change the numbers to 15 and 13, copy merged to animation shop and paste after current frame being on frame 2.

Test your animation, if happy then save.

Snow Time Fun

Drop Shadow usually V2 H2 50 black
 *Remember to add your drop shadow as you go along*

Open a new image 800 x 800 or one you prefer.

Resize paper 10 to 23%, apply your mask, delete and merge group, then free rotate the mask 90 degrees to the left.
Resize if needed for your tag later.

Resize element 05 to 20%, paste on the mask layer, add noise at 50%.

Resize element 26 to 20%, move to the bottom.
Resize element 29 to 27%, paste at the bottom above the wall layer, duplicate, move down a bit.
Resize element ar5 to 20%, place off center some.
I use the color white for the drop shadow on these.

Paste your tube on the top layer on the left.

Select your mask layer, float, defloat, mirror your close up tube first, paste, invert, delete select none, change the blend mode to overlay.

Resize element ws64 to 5%, place on the snow on the right.

Resize wa1 to 25%, place at the top, using your Change To Target brush, change the color to match your tube more, then duplicate and merge down.
Apply a white fat gradient glow and then run the Change To Target brush over the wa1 again.

Resize ws11 to 8%, place on the left below the snow layers to hide the straps.
Resize element ws76 to 20%, paste below the helmet layer.

Resize ws03 to 20%, paste below the tube layer on the right on the bench with ski layer, duplicate, mirror, move above the tube and adjust, duplicate again, move up higher on the tube, erasing a little bit on the right side.

Resize element ws71 to 10%, place on the right below the snow layers.
Resize a couple of snowflakes to 5%, place on the wall where you like and add noise at 50%.

On the name I added a new layer, clicked inside the top part and added white, moved it below the name layer then.

Add any other elements you would like, make it your own.

Crop your tag to be sure no stray shadows are on the edges of your tag.
Once happy with it all, close off any backgrounds, merge visible.
Resize first, then add your copyrights and name.

Candy Cane Christmas

Drop Shadow usually V2 H2 50 black
 *Remember to add your drop shadow as you go along*

Open a new image 800 x 800 or one you prefer.
Paste paper 1, resize larger to 135, apply your mask, delete and merge group.

Paste frame 1, duplicate, change the blend mode to burn, merge down, duplicate, resize to 50%, move down on the right side.
Duplicate the first frame again, free rotate to the left at 15 degrees, move below the top frame and erase any part showing inside.
Close off your mask layer and merge the frames together.

Paste paper 1, move below all the frames, click inside the frames and expand by 5, invert, delete,  then paste your close up, delete. Duplicate the close up, go to Adjust, Blur, Gaussian blur with the number on 4, change the blend mode to hard light, apply the Fun House filter- Streak Mirror, with both numbers on 5, merge down.
Next paste the snowflake scatter below the tube layer, place how you like delete, paste again in the smaller frame, delete, select none.

Paste the snowflake scatter on the mask layer on one side, adjust to your liking, duplicate and move to the other side, erasing any parts you don't want showing.
Add noise at 50%.

Paste your tube on the right above the frame layer.

Resize candy cane 1 to 70%, apply Mura Meister Copies-Encircle with the first number changed to 18, move down to just above the mask layer and adjust to your liking.

Resize the 3 gift boxes to 75%, place at the bottom how you prefer, duplicate one or two if you like.
Resize the sack to 65%, place on the right side.
Resize the candy apply to 70%, place by the sack.
Resize the bear to 75%, place by the sack on the right.
Mirror the  tricycle and place on the left side.
Resize the hat to 75%, place below the tricycle.
Resize the candy to 60%, free rotate to the left at 25, duplicate a couple of times and place where you like.

Resize the wordart candy cane Christmas to 65%, place on the upper left of the frame, add a fat white gradient glow with EyeCandy 4000.
Resize the ornament to 50%, place on the wordart and erase a bit of the hook, sharpen once.
Duplicate the ornament a couple of times, move down by the boxes and fit where you like.
Resize the ribbon to 75%, place on the left a couple layers down below the tricycle.
Resize the lollipop to 75%, place on the left side just above the frame layer.
Paste the stocking below the lollipop on the left, erase the string hanger.

Paste flower 1, move to the upper left and just above the mask layer, duplicate, move over to the right, duplicate a couple more times and move down on each side.

Add any other elements you would like, make it your own.

Crop your tag to be sure no stray shadows are on the edges of your tag.
Once happy with it all, close off any backgrounds, merge visible.
Resize first, then add your copyrights and name.

Let's get started
*Remember to add your drop shadow as you go along*
 
Open a new image 800 x 800 or one you prefer, fill with white or a color /paper of choice, apply your mask, delete and merge group.

Paste frame 2, resize to 65%, duplicate, change the blend mode to burn, merge down. Click inside with your magic wand, expand by 5, resize paper 10 to 80%, paste, invert, delete, then, mirror your close up tube, paste, delete.
Move both the paper and tube below the frame layer.

Resize element 67 to 80%, paste on the mask layer.

Duplicate your close up, go to Adjust, Blur, Gaussian blur, number on 4, change the blend mode to hard light,  merge down, then apply the Xero filter-Titanium with these settings
35, 100, 60, 127
Subtle checked
Then apply Xero filter-Soft Vignette with these settings
Elliptical
Foreground color
Pattern, Square Mesh
 1, 0, 0, 255
Then apply the Xero-Porcelain

Paste your tube on the right, resize to 45% if using the same one I am, apply the Porcelain to this tube also.
Resize element 20 to 50%, place behind your tube.

Resize element 49 to 75%, paste under your tube.

Resize element 56 to 35%, place below the tube layer on the right, duplicate, mirror, adjust below the paper layer of the frame.

Resize element 28 to 25%, paste above the tube layer on the right.

Resize element 22 to 25%, place on the left by the tube.

Resize element 42 to 25%, place by the boxes, duplicate, move over to the right more and below the boxes.

Resize element 29 to 25%, place on the left below the boxes.

Resize element 73 to 35%, apply Mura Meister Copies-Encircle with the first number on 12, paste on the bottom layer. Add noise at 50%.
Resize element 69 to 60%, paste below the above layer on the right side.
Resize element 74 to 35%, paste on the bottom layer, place on the left where you like, duplicate, move up and over some, duplicate again, mirror and move over to the right more.

Resize element 57 to 35%, paste on the left, below the clock.
Resize element 13 to 25%, mirror, move by the clock, change the blend mode to Luminance (L)

Resize element 44 to 20%, place on the right in front of the card.

Add any other elements that you would like.
 
Crop your tag to be sure no stray shadows are on the edges of your tag.
Once happy with it all, close off any backgrounds, merge visible.
Resize first, then add your copyrights and name.

Thankful for Friendships (No Scraps)

This tut was written for those with a basic knowledge of psp.

Drop Shadow usually V2 H2 50 black
 *Remember to add your drop shadow as you go along*

Open the template, go to Image, canvas size, 800 x 800 or whatever size you prefer to work on, delete layer 8 and the credits.
Move the wordart however you like them.

Being on the bottom layer fill with a color of choice, I used #fb9d1b, apply your mask, delete and merge group.

Merge layer 2 down with layer 1, select all, float, defloat, new raster layer, fill with #642200, or color of choice, then go to Select, Modify, Select Selection Borders and change the number to 3, add another new raster layer, fill with #d78c34, add noise at 50%. Then go to Effects, Texture Effects, Weave and apply to the first layer color with these settings
1, 10, 1,
Weave and gap boxes checked and color white.

Select layer 3, select all, float, defloat, go to Select, Modify, Select Selection Borders again with the same number 3, add a new raster layer, fill with the same color and add noise at 50% again. Apply the same texture weave as before.

Merge layer 5 down with layer 4, select all, float, defloat, resize the full tube to 60%, paste on the left how you like, invert, delete select none, duplicate, mirror, merge down. Change the blend mode to screen and apply the Xero filter-Soft Mood.

Merge layer 7 down with layer 6, select all, float, defloat, add a new layer, fill with a gradient, with 2 colors from your tube.
Make the foreground one color, the background another color, then click on gradient, angle 45, repeat 4.

Resize your close up to 60%, paste below the wordart and adjust your tube and wordart how you like.
Select the black wordart, add a new layer and fill with a color of choice.

Take the leaves that came with the tube, resize to 60%, paste on the right side just above the circle layer.

Crop your tag to be sure no stray shadows are on the edges of your tag.
Once happy with it all, close off any backgrounds, merge visible.
Resize first, then add your copyrights and name.

Open a new image 800 x 800 or one you prefer.

Resize paper 2, to 90%, paste your mask, delete and merge group. You will probably want to resize it to fit your tag when done.

Paste frame 3, resize to 75%, duplicate, change the blend mode to burn, merge down. Apply the Xero filter-Soft Vignette to the frame with these settings
EllipticalForeground color
Diagonal dots
1, 0, 0, 255
Click inside with your magic wand, expand by 5, resize paper of choice to 90%, paste, I used paper 5, move below the frame, keep selected, paste your full body tube on one side, delete, select none.
Duplicate the tube, mirror, merge down, change the blend mode to soft light.
Add the Xero filter-Porcelain to the tubes.

Paste your close up tube, resize to 85%, move below the frame layer, duplicate, move this one above the frame layer and erase and part you don't want showing.
Add the Xero filter-Porcelain to both tubes.

Paste element 25 below the paper layer of the frame, apply Mura Meister Copies-Encircle, changing the first number to 16, duplicate, free rotate to the right at 40 degrees, change the blend mode to hard light.
Resize element 29 to 65%, apply Mura Meister Copies-Encircle again but change the first number to 20 and paste on the top leaf layer.

Being on the frame layer now, paste element 8 on the right side, duplicate, mirror.

Paste the wordart thankful.

Resize element 29 to 60%, place on the right below the candle layer, duplicate,
move up and over just a bit, duplicate both and mirror.

Resize element 15 to 60%, paste below the candle layer toward the center more.

Resize element 12 to 35%, place below the owl layer and over some, duplicate and move a little more. Duplicate one, mirror, move over by the candle and up a couple of layers above the wheat layer, duplicate again, mirror.

Paste element 26 below the pumpkin layer, move to the right how you like it, duplicate, mirror, adjust. Go back to the first one and erase the part you don't want showing.

Resize element 2 to 75%, paste on one side at the top of the frame, duplicate, mirror, merge down. Apply EyeCandy 4000-Gradient glow, medium glow, color of choice.

Paste element 17 below the frame layer at the bottom, place under the pumpkins the way you like, erase the part on the left side, duplicate, mirror and erase any other parts you like.

Add any other elements you would like, make it your own.

Crop your tag to be sure no stray shadows are on the edges of your tag.
Once happy with it all, close off any backgrounds, merge visible.
Resize first, then add your copyrights and name.

Font of Choice, I used Amperzand

Drop Shadow usually V2 H2 50 black
 *Remember to add your drop shadow as you go along*

Open a new image 800 x 800 or one you prefer.
Paste paper 1, resize larger to 135%, apply your mask, delete and merge group, then resize your mask again to 117%.

Paste frame 5, duplicate, change the blend mode to overlay, merge down, click inside with your magic wand, expand by 5, paste paper 3, invert, delete, move below the frame. Do not deselect yet, mirror your tube first, then paste where you like, delete, select none.
Duplicate the tube, go to Adjust, Blur, Gaussian blur at 5, change the blend mode to hard light, merge down.  Apply the Xero filter-Soft Vignette with these settings
Elliptical
Foreground color
Diagonal dots
1, 0, 0, 255
Resize your tube to 40%, place on the left side on the frame, apply a fat gradient glow using EyeCandy4000 with this color #ffaf83, you will need to change both color boxes.

Paste leaf 2 below the paper layer of the frame, apply Mura Meister Copies-Encircle with the first number changed to 20.
Then paste leaf 3, apply Mura Meister again.
Paste the scatters between the leaf layers, resize to 45%, apply Mura Meister Copies-Encircle with the same settings as before and adjust.

Paste the pie and cup saucer, resize both to 85%, place on the right side below the word banner.
Paste the branch below the frame layer on the right, duplicate, mirror.

Resize the pumpkin to 60%, place below the pie layer and move more toward the center.

Resize the square brad to 75%, paste on the left below the tube, free rotate to the left at 20%.
Resize the turkey to 45%, place on the right on the pie edge.

Resize the heart to 50%, place on the square brad at the top.
Paste the ribbon below the pumpkin layer at the bottom and adjust to your liking.

Add any other elements you would like, make it your own.

Crop your tag to be sure no stray shadows are on the edges of your tag.
Once happy with it all, close off any backgrounds, merge visible.
Resize first, then add your copyrights and name.

This tut was written for those with a basic knowledge of psp.

Supplies Needed
I used PSPX...but any of them should work.

Font of Choice, I used Impact (resized larger) for the word Happy
and Close to you for Thanksgiving

Drop Shadow usually V2 H2 50 black

Open a new image 800 x 800 or one you prefer.

Paste paper 12, apply your mask, delete and merge group.

Paste element 29, resize to 60%, apply Mura Meister Copies-Encircle with the first number on 12, all others left as is, duplicate, change the blend mode to hard light, merge down, duplicate again, free rotate to the right at 45 degrees.
Paste element 1, resize to 65%, apply Mura Meister Copies as before, move this layer below the leaf layer.

Paste element 15, duplicate, change the blend mode to hard light, merge down.
Click inside with your magic wand, expand by 5, paste paper of choice, I used paper 2, invert, delete, move below the frame, select none.
Paste element 65 on the paper layer.

Paste your tube on the frame, mirror and move to the left side more, duplicate, go to Adjust, Blur, Gaussian blur at 5, change the blend mode to hard light, merge down.

Paste element 54 and move to the bottom to cover the bottom of your tube.

Paste element 3 below the leaves, move to the left side, resize to 75%, place how you like and erase the heart and right side, duplicate, mirror and erase any other parts you do not want showing.

Paste element 51 below the tube layer, mirror, resize to 80% and move to the right more.
Paste element 60 above element 51 and place how you like, duplicate, move in different areas and erase parts you do not want showing.

Paste element 70 just above the frame layer.

Resize element 69 to 80%, place on the right above the leaves.
Paste element 22 below the pumpkins on the right, resize to 65%.

Resize element 41 to 65%, place where you like, duplicate, move again where you like, erasing parts you don't want showing.

Add any other elements you would like, make it your own.

Crop your tag to be sure no stray shadows are on the edges of your tag.
Once happy with it all, close off any backgrounds, merge visible.
Resize first, then add your copyrights and name.
