This tut was written for those with a basic knowledge of psp.

Drop Shadow usually V2 H2 50 black

 

Let's get started

*Remember to add your drop shadow as you go along*

Forum Set

Signature tag

Open new image 600 x 250, fill with a gradient with the foreground white and the background a color from your tube, I used #d6d6d6,  angle 45, repeat 10, paste paper 2, resize the mask to 80%, paste, delete, merge group.

 

Take your free hand tool, draw out a rectangle, add a new layer, fill with the light gray color, change the blend mode to soft light. Then Effects, Edge Effects, Enhance, then Enhance more 3 times, duplicate, mirror.

 

Paste your middle size tube, resize to 80%, place on the right side, duplicate, Adjust, Gaussian Blur at 4, change the blend mode to Screen, merge down.

 

Paste the tree on the left just above the mask layer and place how you like it, sharpen once.

Resize the deer to 60%, paste above the rectangle layers by the tree, duplicate, mirror, place toward the bottom center.

Resize the sign to 55%, paste below the deer layers, free rotate to the left at 15 degrees.

 

Resize the snowballs to 50%, paste, apply Mura Meister Copies-Glob, move down to the right how you like, duplicate, mirror, adjust, duplicate again, move below the center deer.

 

Paste plant 1 above the tree layer on the left, duplicate, move to the right some and down.

Being on the top layer, paste the falling snow on the left, duplicate, move to the right and erase any part on the face of your tube you do not want.

Paste the icicles below the tube layer at the top, change the blend mode to Screen, sharpen once.

 

Type out what you want on your tag, I typed Baby it's Cold Outside and move it below the falling snow layers at the top on your rectangle, add a fat white gradient glow with EyeCandy 4000.

Don't merge your tag just yet, you will be using it for your Avator, once the Avator is done,

then you will merge visible and add your frame.

 

For the Avator

Open an image to a size you use for your forums or groups, I did mine 200 x 200.

Copy the background layer, paste.

Close off your tube and wordart on your signature tag, copy merged and paste, resize to 80% or a size that will fit your Avator size, sharpen once, type out your wordart in smaller letters, add your gradient glow, merge visible.

Apply AAA Frames-Foto Frame with these settings to both the signature tag and avator once you have them merged.

Width 3, 0, 0, 0,

255, 255, 255,

Opacity 50

Click on the little drop down where you see the word default and change that to white.

Take your magic wand, click on the frame area, you might have to click several times, then apply noise at 50%, on both.

Add your copyright and name, merge visible.
