Breath of Christmas Spirit-Forum Set

 

 

This tut was written for those with a basic knowledge of psp.

I am using the Awesome artwork by Sue Miller

Supplies Needed

I used PSPX...but any of them should work.

Filters

Mura Meister Copies-Wallpaper Rotate and Line

Xero-Fritillary and Soft Vignette

AAA Frames-Foto Frame

Font of Choice, I used Arial Narrow

Drop Shadow usually V2 H2 50 black

 Let's get started

*Remember to add your drop shadow as you go along*

Forum Set

Signature tag

Open new image 600 x 250, fill with #362c70.

Paste your tube, resize to 50%, apply Mura Meister Copies-Wallpaper rotate, change the blend mode to Screen.

Go to Adjust, Blur, Motion Blur, Strength 100, Angle 315, then change the angle to 45,

apply Xero filter, Fritillary with these settings

5, 30, 50, 20

 

Resize your tube to 50%, paste in the center, duplicate twice, mirror one and move to the left and the other to the right, having the center one being the bottom one, apply Mura Meister Copies-Line with the 1/n fade out checked, change the blend mode to Luminance(L) and add the Xero filter-Fritillary with the same settings as before.

 

Duplicate the one on the right, Adjust, Blur, Gaussian blur at 5, change the blend mode to Screen, apply Xero filter-Soft Vignette with these settings

Elliptical, foreground color

Diagonal dots

1, 0, 0, 255

merge down.

The tube on the left, duplicate, Blur, Gaussian blur at 5, change the blend mode to overlay and add the Soft Vignette again with the same settings, merge down and then merge visible.

 

Take your Selection tool, draw out a small rectangle across the top on the fur of the hats, add a new layer, fill with white, change the blend mode to Soft light, then go to Effects, Edge Effects,

Enhance once, then go back and Enhance two or three times, duplicate, flip.

 

Type out what you would like, I typed out

****Wishing You A Breath Of Christmas Spirit****

I made a gradient with Red and Green for the wording also.

Don't merge just yet.

 

Avator

Open a new image a size for your group or forum, close off the wordart, copy your signature tag and place how you like, resize to fit, merge visible, add the frame to both, add your copyright and name.

 

If you would like to do the circle one, take your preset tool and the circle, with a width of 2 or 3, foreground color of choice, close off background color and draw a circle to fit your size you are using, then click inside with your magic wand, expand by 1, paste your resize signature tag, invert, delete, move below and add noise if you like, merge visible.

 

AAA Frames-Foto Frame

Change the default color to the red and black, now add your copyright and name.

Let's get started

*Remember to add your drop shadow as you go along*

Forum Set

Signature tag

Open new image 600 x 250, fill with a gradient with the foreground white and the background a color from your tube, I used #d6d6d6,  angle 45, repeat 10, paste paper 2, resize the mask to 80%, paste, delete, merge group.

 

Take your free hand tool, draw out a rectangle, add a new layer, fill with the light gray color, change the blend mode to soft light. Then Effects, Edge Effects, Enhance, then Enhance more 3 times, duplicate, mirror.

 

Paste your middle size tube, resize to 80%, place on the right side, duplicate, Adjust, Gaussian Blur at 4, change the blend mode to Screen, merge down.

 

Paste the tree on the left just above the mask layer and place how you like it, sharpen once.

Resize the deer to 60%, paste above the rectangle layers by the tree, duplicate, mirror, place toward the bottom center.

Resize the sign to 55%, paste below the deer layers, free rotate to the left at 15 degrees.

 

Resize the snowballs to 50%, paste, apply Mura Meister Copies-Glob, move down to the right how you like, duplicate, mirror, adjust, duplicate again, move below the center deer.

 

Paste plant 1 above the tree layer on the left, duplicate, move to the right some and down.

Being on the top layer, paste the falling snow on the left, duplicate, move to the right and erase any part on the face of your tube you do not want.

Paste the icicles below the tube layer at the top, change the blend mode to Screen, sharpen once.

 

Type out what you want on your tag, I typed Baby it's Cold Outside and move it below the falling snow layers at the top on your rectangle, add a fat white gradient glow with EyeCandy 4000.

Don't merge your tag just yet, you will be using it for your Avator, once the Avator is done,

then you will merge visible and add your frame.

 

For the Avator

Open an image to a size you use for your forums or groups, I did mine 200 x 200.

Copy the background layer, paste.

Close off your tube and wordart on your signature tag, copy merged and paste, resize to 80% or a size that will fit your Avator size, sharpen once, type out your wordart in smaller letters, add your gradient glow, merge visible.

Apply AAA Frames-Foto Frame with these settings to both the signature tag and avator once you have them merged.

Width 3, 0, 0, 0,

255, 255, 255,

Opacity 50

Click on the little drop down where you see the word default and change that to white.

Take your magic wand, click on the frame area, you might have to click several times, then apply noise at 50%, on both.

Add your copyright and name, merge visible.

Filters

Xero-Artworx

 

Font of choice, I used Atelier Omega

Drop Shadow usually V2 H2 50 black
Drop shadow on this one I used V-2 H-2 Blur 50
Use whatever drop shadow you prefer
 

 *Remember to add your drop shadow as you go along*

Open a new image 800 x 800 or one you prefer, paste paper 10, apply your mask, delete, merge group.

Resize element 62 to 70%, free rotate to the right at 110 degrees, go to Adjust, Hue and Saturation, Colorize, both numbers on 0, duplicate the frame, change the blend mode to burn, merge down.  Apply the xero filter-Artworx to both frames then merge down.

 

Clip inside with your magic wand, expand by 5, paste paper of choice, invert, delete, move below the frame, paste your close up, delete, select none.

Duplicate the tube, Adjust, Gaussian Blur, Blur at 4, change the blend mode to overlay.

Apply the xero filter-Artworx to the bottom tube, then back on the top one, merge down.

 

Resize your full tube to 65%, paste on the left above the frame layer.

 

Paste element 20 below the tube on the left.

 

Resize element 8, 11 and 12 to 55%, place below the tube layer where you like.

Paste element 45 to 55%, paste below the package to cover the year, duplicate, free rotate to the right at 90 degrees.

 

Element 44, erase the heart, then resize to 55%, place in front of the rotated bottle on the right.

Resize element 52 to 70%, place on the right below the bottles.

Resize which ever ornaments you would like to 40%, duplicate and place where you like.

 

Paste element 37 above the mask layer at the upper right, duplicate, mirror, adjust.

 

Wordart element 69, take your free hand tool, draw around the heart and delete, resize to

65%, add a white drop shadow with the numbers V-2, H-2, 100, 0.

 

Paste element 54 below the tree on the left and adjust to your liking.

 

Add any other elements you would like, make it your own.

Crop your tag to be sure no stray shadows are on the edges of your tag.

Once happy with it all, close off any backgrounds, merge visible.
Resize first, then add your copyrights and name.

Chocolate and Friends~Forum Set

Drop Shadow usually V2 H2 50 black

 Let's get started

*Remember to add your drop shadow as you go along*

Forum Set

Signature tag

Open new image 600 x 250

Take your Selection tool and draw a square on the dress, copy, paste as a new image, now go to your color palette to patterns, select your pattern, fill with this pattern, angle 0, Scale 100, then go to Adjust, Blur, Motion blur, with the number on 45, Strength at 100, apply twice.

Apply the Xero filter-Fritillary with these settings

5, 30, 60, 15

Take your Selection tool, draw a rectangle across and as wide as you like, add a new raster layer, fill with #946252, change the blend mode to soft light, then go to Effects, Edge effects, Enhance twice.

Duplicate, flip, duplicate again and move to the center of the tag.

Paste your tube, mirror, resize to 60%, move more to the left, duplicate, mirror, move below the rectangles to the right, change the blend mode to soft light.

Now back on the top tube, duplicate, Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur at 4, change the blend mode to Hard light.

Apply the Xero filter-Soft Vignette with these settings

Elliptical, Foreground color

Diagonal dots

2, 0, 0, 255

Before you merge and add the frame, make a copy first, hold the shift key and hit the letter d.

I used AAA Foto Frames with these settings

Width 3, Opacity 50, all other numbers on 0.

Type whatever wording you want on yours, I typed Chocolate first, then and Friends so that

I could adjust them, merge these two together, duplicate, move to the lower left.

I used a white drop shadow to help show up better with these settings

V-2, H 2, Opacity 100,  Blur 0,00.

Add your copyright and name, merge visible.

Avator

Open a new image 200 x 200 or a size you prefer, fill with the same pattern as before,

Adjust, Blur, Motion blur, angle 45, Strength 100

Copy and paste your tube from the signature tag, resize to 70%, adjust, merge down.

Type out your wordart again only a bit smaller and place at the bottom, once happy merge visible.

Add the AAA Frame as before with the same settings.

Add your name and copyright, merge visible.
