ARRGH! Happy New Year

 

 

This tut was written for those with a basic knowledge of psp.

I am using the awesome artwork of  Laguna.

The tube is called Pirate Girl with Capuchin Money

You need a license to use this art work. Please do not use without a license.

Supplies Needed

I used PSPX...but any of them should work.

Filters
EyeCandy 4000-Gradient glow

Font of Choice, I used Times New Roman

Drop Shadow usually V2 H2 50 black
Drop shadow on this one I used V-2 H-2 Blur 40
Use whatever drop shadow you prefer
 

 *Remember to add your drop shadow as you go along*

Open a new image 800 x 800 or one you prefer.
Resize paper 1 to 23%, apply your mask, delete and merge group.

Resize element 33 to 25%, paste, click inside with your magic wand, expand by 12, resize paper 5 to 23%, paste, invert, delete, move below frame, select none.

Resize your tube to 35%, paste on the left side of the frame.

Resize element 14 to 98%, paste below the tube layer, move up a bit so the bottom part will not be cut off later.

Resize element 32 to 40%, place at the upper right above the mask layer, duplicate, mirror, flip.
Resize element 13 to 50%, paste on the upper left side above the mask layer, duplicate, move down and over to the bottom right.

Resize element 56 to 40%, paste on the right below your tube.
Resize element 61 to 50%, place above the tube layer on the right.

Resize element 21 to 25%, paste below your tube layer on the right upper side, apply EyeCandy4000, Gradient glow, fat gradient glow with a color of choice.

Resize element 65 to 33%, place at the bottom on the top layer.
Resize element 46 to 30%, place at the upper left below the white flares.

Resize element 15 to 50%, paste one on the right just above the frame layer, duplicate, mirror and move this one above the clock layer on the left.

If you want a few more beads at the bottom, take your free hand tool, draw around the ones on the champagne bottle, copy as a new layer, select none when done, then paste where you like, duplicate again and paste where you like.

Resize your monkey tube to 15%, paste on the champagne bottle like it is hanging off the bottle.

Add any other elements you would like, make it your own.

Crop your tag to be sure no stray shadows are on the edges of your tag.

Once happy with it all, close off any backgrounds, merge visible.
Resize first, then add your copyrights and name.
