Waiting for Santa (Forum Set)

 

 

 

This tut was written for those with a basic knowledge of psp.

I am using the awesome artwork of  Marika.

Supplies Needed

I used PSPX...but any of them should work.
Filters
Sybia-ZIGZAGGE
Mura Meister Copies-Encircle

Font I used Cardinal

Drop Shadow usually V2 H2 50 black

 *Remember to add your drop shadow as you go along*

Open a new image 600 x 250, paste your close up tube, then go to Mura Meister Copies-Encircle, default settings, do not change any of the numbers.

Now go to Adjust, Blur, Motion Blur, Angle 45, Strength 100, apply again changing the Angle to 315.  Duplicate this layer two more times for a total of three layers. Rename your layers, 1, 2, and 3.

Apply the Sybia Filter-ZIGZAGGE on the first layer with the first number on 10.
On number 2 layer, apply the filter, changing the first number to 12.
On layer 3 apply again, changing the first number to 14.

Being on the top layer, take your selection tool and draw a rectangle across the tag, change the blend mode to soft light, then go to Effects, Edge effects, enhance.

Type out Waiting for Santa  across the strip, or what you want yours to say.

Paste your tube and move to the lower part of your tag.
Back on the top layer, select all, new raster layer, fill with a color from your tube,
contract by 3, delete, select none.

Add your copyright and name before you take it to animation.

To Animate
Close off layer 2 and 3, copy merged to animation shop, back to psp, close off layer 1, open layer 2, copy merged to animation, paste after current frame, then back to psp, close off layer 2 and open layer 3, copy merged to animation, paste after current frame.
Avator
Mine is 180 x 180
If you want to do an Avator,  select a new layer with a size you would like, copy each layer from your signature tag and paste in the same rotate as on the tag, resize your tube and wordart smaller to your liking.
Add your frame as before.
Add your copyright and name and take one merged layer at a time to animation like you did with the signature tag.
