Christmas Time

This tut was written for those with a basic knowledge of psp.

I am using the awesome artwork of  Keith Garvey.

The tube is called Winter

Supplies Needed

I used PSPX...but any of them should work.

Filters
EyeCandy 4000, Gradient Glow

 

Font of Choice, I used Andalus

Drop Shadow usually V2 H2 50 black

 *Remember to add your drop shadow as you go along*

Open a new image 800 x 800 or one you prefer.
Paste paper 12, apply your mask, delete and merge group, duplicate the mask and merge down.

Resize element 52 to 65%, paste and adjust how you like it.
I used a drop shadow of -2, -2, 40, 10 on the house.
Resize element 53 to 75%, place at the bottom, duplicate, move up a bit, duplicate again and move behind the house and up a bit.
Resize element 51 to 30%, place on the right by the house.

Paste your full tube by the bench.

Resize the following elements

 Element 6 to 25%, place on the left by the house.
 Element 20 to 25%, place by the animal on the snow.
 Element 76 to 60%, place on the left behind the house, duplicate, mirror, resize to 85%.
 Element 28 to 15%, place on the bench, free rotate to the left at 15 degrees.
 Element 29 to 15%, place on the bench also.
Element 31 to 15%, place below the other package on the bench.
Element 13 to 10%, place between the packages on the bench.
 Element 18 to 17%, place by the bench.
Element 31 to 20%, place by the bench.
Element 77 to 30%, place at the top, apply EyeCandy 4000, Gradient Glow, select color and then Fat and the color.
Numbers on 3, 25, 100
Element 43, to 15%, duplicate several times, place on the tree where you like, change the blend mode to Luminance (L)
Element 39 to 13%, place on top of the tree.
Element 83 to 75%, place on the top layer, using a lighter drop shadow on this one.
Element 19 to 15%, place on the house.
Element 34 to 15%, place below the santa hat layer.
Element 46 to 35%, place below the bench layer off center some.
Element 85 to 65%, place on the smaller tree on the right.
Element 40 to 10%, place on top of the small tree.
Element 61 to 7%, place on the side of the welcome word on the house, duplicate, move to the other side.
Element 74 to 15%, place on the snow, duplicate as many times as you like and move around, below the tube layer and the hat layer.

Add any other elements you would like, make it your own.

Crop your tag to be sure no stray shadows are on the edges of your tag.

Once happy with it all, close off any backgrounds, merge visible.
Resize first, then add your copyrights and name.
