Cheers to New Beginnings

 

This tut was written for those with a basic knowledge of psp.

I am using the awesome artwork of  Alicia Mujica.

The tube is called Happy New Year 2016.

Supplies Needed

I used PSPX...but any of them should work.

Font of Choice, I used Authentic Hilton 

Drop Shadow usually V2 H2 50 black
Use whatever drop shadow you prefer
 

 *Remember to add your drop shadow as you go along*

Open a new image 800 x 800 or one you prefer.
Paste paper 12 or choice of your own, apply your mask, delete and merge group.

Resize frame 10 to 75%, click inside with your magic wand, expand by 5, paste paper of choice, I used #2, invert, delete. Move off center some to the left.

Resize your tube to 33%, place on the right, then select all, float, defloat, expand by 3, add a new raster layer, fill, select none, move below the tube, add noise at 50%, back on the tube layer and merge down.

Resize the lips to 75%, free rotate to the left at 20 degrees, place on the upper right of the frame by the tube.

Resize the car to 80%, place below the tube layer and to the left more.

Resize the puppy to 50%, place on the left by the car.
Paste the wordart Cheers to a New Beginning on the tube layer at the bottom.

Resize the champagne to 50%, place on the right below the tube layer.
Paste the disco ball below the frame and up a bit to the right.
Paste sparkle 4 on the disco ball.
Resize blower 2 to 50%, place on the right by the champagne.

Paste the drop ball on the right, take your free hand tool, draw around the new year wordart and date, delete, select none, then place behind your tube.
Select all, float, defloat, paste one of the sparkles on the drop ball, invert, delete, select none.

Resize the balloons to 50%, duplicate, mirror one, paste both on the left side, moving one down some.
Then resize the ribbon to 50%, duplicate a couple of times, place like they are part of the balloons.
Paste the fireworks below the paper layer of the frame, duplicate a couple of times and place where you like.
Resize the rockets to 20%, free rotate to the right at 20 degrees and place at the upper left side, below the balloon layers, duplicate, mirror, move below the drop ball layer.

Resize mask 2 to 30%, place on the car, sharpen once.
Resize the shoe to 30%, place on the right on the ball stand, change the color, go to Adjust, Hue and Saturation, colorize with these numbers
Hue 25, Saturation 105
then duplicate, mirror, move back to the right above the tube layer.

Add any other elements you would like, make it your own.

Crop your tag to be sure no stray shadows are on the edges of your tag.

Once happy with it all, close off any backgrounds, merge visible.
Resize first, then add your copyrights and name.
