The First Snow (Forum Set)

 

 

This tut was written for those with a basic knowledge of psp.

I am using the awesome artwork of  Vadis.

The tube is called First Snow

Supplies Needed

I used PSPX...but any of them should work.

Font of Choice, I used Magnolia Light

Drop Shadow usually V2 H2 50 black

 *Remember to add your drop shadow as you go along*

Open a new image 600 x 250, resize paper 5 to 35%, paste on one side, duplicate, mirror, erase the center part to make it blend in more.

Resize element 48 to 25%, place on one side, duplicate, mirror.

Resize element 49 to 30%, place in the center above the fence layer.

Resize element 76 to 30%, paste on the right side, duplicate, move to the left and below the fence, duplicate again and move over some.

Resize element 29 to 15%, place on the left upper side.

Resize element 7 to 15%, place on the left side.

Resize element 47 to 15%, place on the left behind the snowman.

Resize element 51 to 15%, paste at the bottom, duplicate a couple of times and move how you like them.

Resize your close up tube to 17%, if using the same one I am, mirror and place where you like.

Click on your tag, select copy merged, and paste as a new layer, keeping the unmerged tag to use in the Avator how you would like it.
This way you can close off any layers you do not want to use in the Avator.

Merge visible, select all, new raster layer, fill with a color of choice,  contract by 5, delete, select none. Add noise at about 40% if you like.
Add your copyright and name.

Animation
Hope I explain the animation without confusing anyone.
To add the animated snow, close off the frame layer, copy merged to animation shop, making your tag have 30 layers to match the snow layers.
Once you have your 30 layers, click on the snow layer, go to Edit, Select All,  copy, then go to your tag, being on the first layer, click Edit, Select All, paste into selected frame.

Once that is done, go back to psp, close off the tag part and copy the frame with the copyright and name to animation shop, make 30 layers with this, then Edit, Select All, copy, then click on your tag, go to Edit, Select All, paste into selected frame, and line up your frame, paste and test your animation, if happy save.

Avator,
Open a new layer a size you prefer, I did 180 x 180, then I closed off the frame layer with the copyright and name, paste the tag I just finished and resized it to 85%, place how you like, then merge visible.  Select all, new raster layer, fill with the red again, contract by 5, delete, select none and add the noise again.
Do the same as before if you want the Avator animated also.

Be sure you add your copyright and name on the frame first.
